gus + beau is a young British brand offering premium practical and safe baby playmats you can love. Available in muted colours and simple patterns, the range is designed to complement the modern home’s style and aesthetic whilst offering all the functionality you need for a little one’s space.

You’ll find clean lines, stylish patterns and minimalist colours. Each playmat set contains 6 deluxe foam tiles. The assembled mat size is 122cm x 180cm (a standard rug size) but you can combine sets if you’d like to cover a larger area. The tiles are a generous 1.4cm thick, ready to protect little ones from bumps.

Crucially, these mats are free of all toxic nasties. They’re EU and US safety-certified, made of the highest quality EVA foam which is BPA-free, lead-free and phthalate-free. They are safe AND practical – yep, they’re wipe clean!

gus + beau is the creation of mama Liz Rawlinson. Having worked in ecommerce retail for many years, when Liz struggled to find stylish ways to create a safe play space for her second son she knew she had found a gap in the market -- and that she could create the perfect solution.

The brand is named after Liz’s greatest inspiration, her sons Gus and Beau. In October 2016, Liz’s first son Beau was stillborn at full term. He lives forever in his family’s heart. What an inspirational Mama these boys have.
