Welcoming Emma, a new contributor in the UK
While I have never met her in 'real' life, Emma Bates and I have been online friends for the last five years. She first reached out to me in an email whilst we were travelling back in 2016, and from that very first email exchange I knew we'd become fast friends. Emma and her family ...

Aromatherapy, a gentle way to soothe our minds anytime
Regularly, we use aromatherapy in our home to help soothe our minds and create an ambiance. It subtly makes the air like nature has entered the room and helps us feel more relaxed. In the cooler months, I enjoy candles. Especially the warm gentle fragrance of natural beeswax candles. It's such a treat then. But ...

Would you share the name of your baby before birth?
Esther and I just had an interesting conversation about sharing or not sharing the name of your unborn child. She cheekily asked if we had decided on a name for our baby boy already and if I would share it with her. Which got us comparing habits and traditions on the matter. I am now ...

The Climate Marches: a new generation takes on the old
Did you follow last week's climate marches all over the world? It actually made me weepy (and that does not happen very often) seeing kids all over the world stand up for themselves and their future. Of course they were having fun with their friends, of course they are still having long showers whilst protesting ...

When you are pregnant with your third child, you just have less 'me' time. Welcome to our newest #babyccinokidsboutiques on the block! Eco conscious clothing and decor for adventurous kids … Bella + Phoenix! Brand @bella_and_phoenix is created by Debbie Turrell a Sussex based graphic designer/illustrator and mum. From a young age both her children showed an avid interest in the natural world. From rock pooling to finding mini beasties in the back garden, everything would be inspected (not dissected!) and then avidly talked about. Next would come the barrage of questions! It inspired her to come up with the 'Tee of Knowledge’. The clothing is organized into cute themes and children will definitely feel inspired when they are dressed and ready for an afternoon spent amongst nature! Being passionate about ethical production, all the clothing is handprinted to order in Bella and Phoenix Sussex studio on organic cottons, using eco friendly inks. The packaging is recycled and 100% biodegradable too. We hope your little explorers will be inspired!
