Poem Children create fine jewellery specially designed for children. They offer a small, unique range of heirloom pieces, lovingly handcrafted in Britain using certified ethical precious metals and gemstones.
You’ll find sweet necklaces, earrings, brooches and pins. All are created to appeal to little ones and with safety in mind, but also to last a lifetime and more. Made to the highest standards, they are a legacy, carrying heritage and hope onwards on their journey.
This Sussex-based studio is the creation of New Zealander Rachel Mowat Smith, who holds an MA in jewellery design from Central Saint Martins. This mum of two began her own venture whilst her little ones slept, intending to offer devotional gifts of beauty while championing sustainable and ethical production.
Each original piece is handcrafted by Rachel then produced in collaboration with an esteemed British jewellery manufacturing company. Reflecting their core values of beauty and purpose, Poem Children pay great attention to the source of the materials used and take the utmost care throughout manufacture. They cast exclusively in certified Fairmined precious metals and use only ethically sourced gemstones.
“I love that the necklaces have magnetic clasps - so handy, as well as safe!”
