2018: My personal goals
Happy New Year everyone! I've just dusted off my computer, dug up a shiny new notebook and made myself a cup of lemon/ginger/kurkuma/honey tea. 2018 is going to be a great year, and of course I'm kicking it of with big plans! Here's my list of personal aims and goals for this year: 1. Be ...

Family walks and how to display collected treasures
What do you normally do with those little treasures that children find on family walks? The inside of many jacket pockets and the back of many drawers are often their final resting place. Such a sad end, considering how much excitement, enthusiasm and pride accompanied their discovery. So instead of losing these beloved little ...

Stuffel -- a clever storage solution for all those little Lego pieces.
Do you have a Lego obsessed child? And do you struggle to find a good storage solution for all those nasty little pieces? I have tried all sorts of baskets and boxes before. I have even tried boxes with different inserts so Lego could be organised according to shape and colour. But in the end, the one Lego ...

A simple tip for sorting your laundry faster
How much time do you spend washing, folding and ironing laundry per week? Even with the help of my husband, my children and our cleaning lady, I still spend at least half a day a week working on it. If not more! I was just sorting through the laundry, and while folding the the boys' ...

Date Reminder Calendar from Flora Douville
I'm usually so good at remembering birthdays and other important dates, but lately I've been slipping! (Does 'baby brain' ever go away? I hope so!) Anyway, I just bought myself this Date Reminder Calendar by French artist, Flora Douville, and I'm really hoping it will help. Isn't it beautiful? I'm going to hang this in ...

2011 Calendar from Ink+Wit
Every year I wait until it's too late to buy a new calendar -- and by the time I think to do it (usually January 1st when it becomes a must!), it seems my favourite ones are all sold out. So... this year I am somehow VERY on top of it because I am the ...

A really cool (and big!) 2010 kid's calendar
For my son's first Christmas his Aunt (in Berlin) bought him a beautiful kinderzimmer (Kid's Room) calendar, illustrated by Wolf Erlbruch -- the gentleman who illustrated The Story of the Little Mole Who Knew it Was None of His Business (which if you don't know you should probably stop reading and take yourself to the ...

There are more than a million words in the English language. We remember the most common term and associate more complex or less frequent words with that. So the clever people from @mrswordsmithofficial have developed cards linking word groups together. To make this memorable to children, they developed learning tools designed by comic book illustrators. Super fun and memorable, the designs are instantly associated to the word. So clever! See more on today’s blog post. #babyccinokids #linguists

A new kind of screen we love. ️ The Wakka by @kukkia101 is truly addictive. There is not one bit of technology inside... it works entirely on water! A good ‘old fashioned’ toy and great for travelling too. See our blog post about it. #babyccinoboutiques #babyccinokids #woodentoys #screenfree
