There is something special about staying warm indoors when it is cold outside. Although for little ones, an extended period of time in doors can be difficult. I have found that for my daughter, anything involving glue and glitter makes her quite happy! Thanks to quarantine we have lots and lots of paper rolls so I thought it would be fun to try to make these pretty paper roll snowflakes with them and cover them in glitter! I think they turned out well and I hope that you try it!

Pretty Paper Roll Snowflakes

Supplies:

• 5-8 paper rolls (you will need more for bigger snowflakes or very detailed snowflakes)
• scissors
• glue gun
• glitter
• glue
• string (if you wish to hang your snowflakes)

Directions:

• Flatten toilet paper rolls and cut in strips about 1cm.
• Use your glue gun to connect the points of the strips to begin shaping your snowflake.
• Continue gluing strips to the snowflake to make any pattern you wish.
• Have fun playing around with strips and patterns!
• Once you have completed all of your snowflakes, pour glitter in a plate and set aside.
• Next, use a paintbrush to cover the edges the edges of your snowflake in glue.
• Dip the snowflake in glitter and set aside too dry.
• Once the snowflakes are dry, they may hung on your tree or anywhere you need some extra winter cheer!

I prefer the plain brown snowflakes, but my daughter LOVES the glitter ones.  We also had a little snuggle break!
