A recap of our recent ShopUp event in Los Angeles

Last weekend was our third ever Los Angeles ShopUp and first ever holiday edition in LA! More than 20 shops, tasty food, fun activities and stylish shoppers gathered for two days of holiday shopping at the fabulous new venue Office Party in Mt Washington. We have loads of beautiful pictures and we’re thrilled to share them with you here along with a few of our highlights.

Saturday morning we hosted a press preview for our blogger friends to get a sneak peak and dive into the shopping before we opened to the public.

We had such a wonderful selection of shops — something for everyone and all ages — including the mamas!

While the parents shopped, the little ones were entertained with holiday crafts from Makers Mess. The Smilebooth photo booth with the Happenings Co beautiful backdrop was a huge hit!

There were delicious snacks for hungry shoppers including Love Swirls, Coolhaus, Heritage LA and The Lobos Truck. From cotton candy to wachos (waffle fry nachos) we sure had some tasty treats!

We love partnering with local organization that are doing great work and will be of interest to the families at The ShopUp. On Saturday our friends at Little Spoon handed out samples of their organic Babyblends and are offering our attendees and readers 20% off your first order with code SHOPUP thru the end of the year. LOOM, which recently opened in LA, provides education, services and community that supports people throughout the reproductive, pregnancy and parenting experience.

On Sunday Imperfect Produce signed up families for their ugly produce delivery and handed out produce as a takeaway. All weekend long our friends at Helpr lent a helping hand greeting guests. We love their on-demand babysitting service and cannot recommend them enough!

When we saw a pink flower truck in Los Angeles, we knew we had to have them at The ShopUp! It was such fun having Lenita By Grita parked out front selling stunning bouquets to our shoppers including mini bouquets that kids could make themselves.

Thank you to all our amazing boutiques who joined us from near and far. We love working with so many incredible brands and bringing them together in one room is such a special treat.
